Chucksney Mountain is often ridden as an extension to the Grasshopper trail ride. The trail starts from Grasshopper with a moderate climb up the ridge of Chucksney Mountain. Before starting your decent you can hike up to the top of the mountain for some amazing views inside a lovely meadow. From there it’s a good descent down to the intersection with Grasshopper again.
