From Quilcene, WA drive one mile south on Highway 101 to Penny Creek Road. Take a right, go 1.4 miles staying to the left at the “Y” at the two gravel roads. Drive about 4-5 miles on the Forest Road 27 to the 100 spur. Turn right on the 100 spur and travel approximately 2 miles to the trailhead. The trailhead is located at a sharp turn on the road and is not marked by a sign. This trailhead offers the closest access to the pass.
