Beginning at Foley Ridge Trailhead, Foley Ridge Trail #3511 immediately enters the Three Sisters Wilderness and begins a steady uphill grade along Foley Ridge. The trail passes through a Douglas-Fir dominant Forest on it’s way to a pass between Substitute and Proxy Points. The trail continues east past a trail junction to Substitute Point and through a burn and blow down area along a ridge crest in view of some surrounding mountains. The steady upgill grade continues past creeks and swamps on the south side of The Husband before reaching a multi-trail junction at a large meadow. From there, the trail continues uphill northeast and ends at the Pacific Crest Trail #2000.
