Howdy, the parking is only roadside unless you can get into the campground and is limited. You can hear the South Toe River rushing over rocks and by following some rougher hiking paths a short distance you’ll see very large rocks on the right (North) side of the river.
The trails are all natural, choose your own adventure over the river worn boulders; the terrain gives a good scale authenticity and you can spend a fair amount of time there. Careful! Some of the trails or features put the car close to deep water, but only if the driver isn’t aware.
