My opinion of the best crawler is how mutch fun you have with it. My first crawler was cheap / $400 but the learning progress was verry fun to do. Every time I was driving I thought, I did that mod/repair myself and that gave me a happy feeling. That was my best crawler. It brought me into the hobby where I still am. The one I have now is technaly mutch better but it never give me that same feeling that I had with my 1st one.

That’s a valid point. You know, my first one was a used $200 Element. I got hooked in the hobby, but I actually didn’t enjoy the rig. It was on tiny tires and for a newbie is something I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Now, it definitely comes down to taste and what gets that big smile on your face.
